Smoke visible in south Oroville due to controlled burn

A controlled burn can be seen in the Oroville area due to a controlled burn.

OROVILLE, Calif. - The Feather River Recreation and Park District is burning piles in south Oroville Wednesday, according to Butte County CAL FIRE.

This is a control burn and there is no emergency.

CAL FIRE said smoke is visible along Highway 70.
