Silver Alert canceled for Tehama County man

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - California Highway Patrol and Tehama County Sheriff's Office have activated a silver alert for 79-year-old Albert Norris.

The alert is active in Tehama, Shasta, Butte, Glenn, Mendocino and Humboldt Counties.

CHP says Norris was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 23 around 7 p.m. in Corning and could possibly be in possession of a handgun.

Norris suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented.

He was last seen wearing a blue and white checkered flannel shirt and blue jeans.

At a height of 5'9", Norris weighs 160 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.

Officials say Norris' vehicle is a 2004 Gold GMC Sierra with a California license plate of DP868RR.

If you see Norris, CHP says to call 911.
