REDDING, Calif. - It is Cyber Monday – a huge online shopping day. Action News Now spoke with several people today, if they plan to do some cyber Monday shopping, and to our surprise, several people said they are not shopping online right now.
However, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) predicts that online shopping will surge this year. The BBB says, it expects to see a drastic increase in online shopping.

“This year with the pandemic changing us, cyber Monday is going to be huge,” Representative with the BBB, Alma Galvan said. “Which we're predicting an average of a 35% increase on a consumer's ability to shop online this year.
If your plan to holiday shopping plans takes you online, the BBB recommends that you: know which website you're shopping on, research the site you plan to shop, read the return policies, and make sure you order items sooner rather than later.
The Better Business Bureau says to see if a website that you're shopping on is secure, you can check online and if the website has a "lock icon" right next to it or if it says "https," or "s" being secure, that means the website is safe to shop on.
