GRIDLEY, Calif. - The Gridley Police Department has identified the man killed in a shooting Sunday evening as 37-year-old William Dean Tull, of Gridley.
Gridley Police Department say they responded to several 911 calls around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, of possible gunshots in the area of Laurel and Washington Streets.
Police say upon arrival in the area a man was found with several gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Officers say the man was transported to Orchard Hospital, and then was life-flighted to Enloe Hospital. Police say after life-saving efforts the man died from his injuries that he got in the shooting.
Police say this is an on-going investigation. At this time, there is no known or identified motive. Police said evidence was obtained from the crime scene and will be processed by the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services.
