SHASTA LAKE, Calif. - The Shasta County Sheriff's Office says one Shasta Lake man has been arrested following an investigation into child pornography and sexual assault.

Officials say they served 47-year-old Jeremy Saber with a search warrant on Oct. 15 at his Deer Creek Avenue residence. This is where they discovered a large outbuilding containing hundreds of images of young girls between the ages of nine and 15 years old in a sexually explicit manner.

Also in the building, officials say they discovered adult and children sized mannequins that were dressed in wigs and makeup posed in sexual acts.

While investigating, officials say they became aware of a storage unit at Bryant Security Storage that Saber was renting. Following the serving of a search warrant, they say they found more photos of young girls. This all resulting in a large amount of evidence gathered.

Based upon the information discovered during the investigation, officials worked with the Shasta County District Attorney's Office and a warrant was issued for Saber's arrest.

On Oct. 23, officials say Saber was arrested and during an interview admitted to possessing child porn and photographing the victims identified in the case.

Saber was transported to the Shasta County Jail where he was booked for 10 counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.

This is an ongoing investigation with further charges expected to be filed.
