Sheriff's Office looking for marijuana investigation suspect in Berry Creek

Two people have been arrested because of a large cache of marijuana found at home in Berry Creek.

BERRY CREEK, Calif. - Two people have been arrested because of a large cache of marijuana found at home in Berry Creek.

Police responded to a home in Berry Creek around 1 a.m. on Sept. 21 after reports that a man had shot himself.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

During the investigation, officials found a large marijuana grow and an illegal assault weapon on the property where the shooting occurred.

Police arrested two men in connection with the marijuana grow.

They are still searching for Romtin Ziaee of Berry Creek who is also believed to be in connection.
