The event includes a diversity of faiths, including Christian, Native American, Baha'i, Sikh, Buddhist, Quaker, Islam, Jewish, and New Thought.

Proceeds will benefit the Western Service Workers Association (WSWA). Organizers of the virtual Interfaith services said the WSWA does not receive any government funding.  The association of volunteers works to end poverty by providing service work and caregiving for the elderly and disabled. Members also organize free self-help benefit programs of emergency food, clothing, and preventive medical care with volunteer doctors.
