Shasta Dam Visitor Center back open

The Shasta Dam Visitor Center reopened on Thursday.

REDDING, Calif. – The Shasta Dam Visitor Center has reopened.

Visitors can view informational displays and a documentary film about the dam’s history. Knowledgeable guides are there to answer questions as well.

The center is only allowing a self-guided walking tour across the top of the dam. Capacity will also be limited to 25%.

The Shasta Dam Visitor Center is open Thursday through Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the latest visitor center information call 530-247-8555.
