SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - A new Shasta County homeless shelter is in the works.

The project, called “The Place,” is still in the early planning stages.

Agencies like TJE Health Alliance of Northern California and Shasta County Health and Human Services are involved in the effort.

After they finish searching for locations and grant funding, a formal presentation will be made to the Shasta County Board of Supervisors on April 23.
