Shasta County breaks Monday's COVID-19 hospitalization, ICU record

The Shasta County Health and Human Services said it has broken Monday's record of COVID-19 hospitalization and ICU.

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - On Tuesday, Shasta County Health and Human Services said it has broken the record for COVID-19 hospitalizations and ICU admission that was set Monday.

On Tuesday, SCHHS said 91 people are in the hospital with COVID-19 and 23 are in ICU.

These numbers are slightly higher than Sunday’s numbers that were reported Monday which were 84 people in the hospital with COVID-19 and 20 who were in ICU.

As of Monday, Shasta County has reported 14,591 total coronavirus cases and 251 deaths.
