Redding, Calif.—According to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office they were dispatched to Boyle Road in Redding around 2 a.m. Monday morning for a disturbance.

The reporting party, Jacob Nathaniel Wiley 25 years old of Redding said that he was shot by Wayne Kenneth Doelker 25 years old from Redding during a fight.

Wiley then ended the call with the dispatch center.

When deputies arrived they found Wiley and a Shannon Xylina Perez, 44 years old from Redding in the front yard of the home.

Wiley and Perez were invited by the owner, Doelker earlier in the night.

The three of them were sitting in the front yard drinking throughout the night and Wiley and Doelker became intoxicated.

Wiley and Perez ran from the area and called 911 to report the incident.

Doelker left the home on foot, possibly armed in an unknown direction.

Deputies searched Doelker’s home and located numerous firearms, which were taken for safe keeping.

Deputies searched for Doelker, but were not able to find him.

Wiley was treated on scene for minor injuries he received during the fight with Doelker.

Wiley and Perez were taken home by deputies.

A Be on the Lookout (BOLO) has been issued for Doelker for his arrest.

He is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and negligent discharge of a firearm.
