GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - Glenn County leaders are now asking for the state's help in fixing its infrastructure that was damaged in the August Complex. The Glenn County Supervisors issued an emergency proclamation.
County Road 200 near Newville is among five roads damaged by the fires, leaving behind the debris. The fire has also caused slope instability in the hills. The other roads impacted include County Roads 307, 308, 309, and 313.
It impacts people who live in Elk Creek up to the Mendocino National Forest boundary line.
The Board of Supervisors sent the aid request on Tuesday and are waiting to hear back from the state on how much money they can get.
The cost of damage is estimated to be $3 million in damages.
