Several evacuation warnings lifted for Monument Fire

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office has lifted several evacuation warnings for the Monument Fire.

TRINITY COUNTY, Calif. - The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office is lifting some evacuation warnings for the Monument Fire.

The Sheriff’s Office said the areas along Hyampm Rd. From Cedar Gulch to Highway 3. The following roads are included: Circle Dr., Highland Dr., North Vista Lane, Murray Lane, Bean Gulch and North Talco Way.

All areas east of Hyampom Rd., on both sides of Highway 3 through Hayfork to Big Creek Rd.

This includes all areas south of Big Creek Rd. to Morgan Hill Rd. and from Coonrod Gulch southwest through Kingsbury Gulch to Highway 3.

All areas south of Hyampom Rd. along Highway 3 to Salt Creek Growers. All areas northwest from the Highway 3 and Salt Creek Growers intersection to the Tule Creek Rd. and Jesse Rd. intersection.

Lastly, all areas southwest of the Jesse Rd. and Tule Creek Rd. intersection to Forest Service Rd. 3N08, including McAlexander Rd., Shangri La Rd., Hunter Lane, Green Gate Rd. and Land Acre Rd.

The Monument Fire has burned 215,944 acres and is 50% contained.
