Serious injuries reported after 2 trucks collide head-on near Forest Ranch

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A terrifying head-on crash left an unknown number of people seriously hurt on Friday night near the Butte and Tehama County line.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A terrifying head-on crash left an unknown number of people seriously hurt on Friday night near the Butte and Tehama County line.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), it happened about 9:15 p.m., 20 miles east of Forest Ranch.

Two pick-up trucks, both hauling trailers, collided head-on and the injuries were described as major with extrication needed.

A medical helicopter arrived at the scene, but no further information was available.
