Semi-truck carrying Mountain Dew overturns on Highway 99

A semi-truck carrying soda overturned just before 6 p.m. on Thursday.

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A semi-truck carrying soda overturned just before 6 p.m. on Thursday. CHP said it happened on Highway 99 near Tehama- Vina Road, just south of Los Molinos.

CHP said the driver of the truck was unable to turn on a left curb there overturning. The semi-truck was carrying Mountain Dew soda.

This left a huge sticky mess, but traffic was not impacted and nobody was hurt.

The last two days saw quite a bit of rain in Northern California. Today we could see more but the showers look to be more isolated today than in previous days. Highs today are expected to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s.
