Second Dog Stealing Suspect Arrested in Redding

Redding police have arrested the second suspect linked to the robbery of 14 show dogs in early June.

REDDING, Calif. - Redding police have arrested the second suspect linked to the robbery of 14 show dogs in early June.

Twenty-eight-year-old Billie Jo Patterson was arrested Monday.

Police arrested his accomplice four days ago, Benjamin Larson, a parolee with an extensive criminal history.

The theft happened on June 6 when the van and dogs were taken from the parking lot of the In N Out restaurant.

They were found the next day in south Redding.

Fortunately, the animals were okay and were reunited with their owners.

The suspects face charges of animal cruelty, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.
