Authorities approached an RV trailer, where it was confirmed Childs was living. However, Childs had left the residence just before deputies arrived. A parole search was conducted on Childs’ trailer and deputies said they located a firearm inside. Childs is a convicted felon, which prohibits him from possessing any firearms, according to SCSO.
While deputies were nearby Childs' trailer, another armed and dangerous wanted felon, 25-year-old Camren James Taylor of Anderson, was contacted. Taylor attempted to run but quickly stopped when K-9 Fritz began to bark. Taylor was taken into custody without further incident.
28-year-old Lisa Marie Deaton of Anderson was also located near the trailer. Deputies said Deaton gave a false name to avoid arrest. After her identity was confirmed, she was arrested on her warrants. Deaton and Taylor were booked into the Shasta County Jail.
