Saturday January 12th Weathercast

Sunny on Sunday. Rain for most of next week!

Posted: Jan 12, 2019 9:51 PM

A beautiful Saturday brought sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs in the 60's in several valley locations.

Sunday looks dry and mostly sunny as well with mild temperatures once again.

Next week will see big changes come our way. A first in a series of storms will bring the rain back to us by Monday afternoon, although it should be light rain. A bigger storm will hit us on Tuesday with 1/2" to 1" of rain in the Valley, and the rain will continue into Wednesday. An even wetter storm should slam into us late Wednesday and into Thursday, and showers will linger into Friday! It's looking very wet, with 2" to 4" of rain coming our way next week in many valley locations, and with higher amounts in the foothills. Snow levels will start high, then drop to near 4000' by Wednesday, and a bit of a gusty south wind developing next Wednesday and Thursday.

So, enjoy the dry Sunday... next week will be quite wet!
