Satellite Imagery over the Carr Fire

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Check it out this is satellite imagery from the "National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration."

It shows plumes of smoke stretching across California where the "Carr Fire" is raging into its sixth day.

The fire has already claimed the lives of five people, destroyed more than 500 buildings and is threatening thousands more.

As of Sunday morning, the fire is just five-percent contained.

About 38,000 people remain under evacuation orders Sunday.
