Salvation Army hosts free community Thanksgiving in Chico

The Salvation Army of Chico will host its annual free community Thanksgiving meal on November 23rd at the Chico Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1940 Mulbery St. from noon until 2 p.m.

The Salvation Army of Chico will host its annual free community Thanksgiving meal on November 23rd at the Chico Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1940 Mulbery St. from noon until 2 p.m.

Staff and volunteers will prepare and serve warm meals for around 400 people.

Families and individuals only need to show up at Chico Fraternal Order of Eagles to receive a meal.

Nearly 50 volunteers will be on hand to assist the Salvation Army with the event.
