Here is a comprehensive list of measures up for vote Shasta, Butte, Trinity, Glenn and Modoc Counties with the unofficial election results listed for each one.

Here is a list of the measures being voted on during the November 6, 2018 midterm election in our North State counties. Click links for more details on each measure.

Measure J - Marysville Joint Unified School District School Bond Measure

DID NOT PASS

Needs 55 percent to pass.  Preliminary results show 54 percent voted no, and 46 percent voted yes.

Measure S - City of Chico Term Limits for Council Members

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 69 percent voted yes, and 31 percent voted no.

Measure T - City of Oroville Cannabis Business Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 60 percent voting yes, and 40 percent voting no.

Measure U - City of Oroville Transactions and Use Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 56 percent voted yes and 44 percent voted no.

Measure V - Town of Paradise Extension of General Transactions and Use Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 69 percent voted yes and 31 percent voted no.

Measure W - Biggs Unified School District School Bond Measure 

DID NOT PASS

Needs 55 percent to pass. Preliminary results show 51 percent voted yes and 49 percent voted no.

Measure X - Durham Unified School District School Bond Measure

PASSES

Needs 55 percent to pass. Preliminary results show 64 percent voted yes and 36 percent voted no.

Measure Y - Paradise Unified School District School Bond Measure

PASSES

Needs 55 percent to pass. Preliminary results show 60 percent voted yes and 40 percent voted no.

Measure Z - Thermalito Unified School District School Bond Measure  

PASSES

Needs 55 percent to pass. Preliminary results show 59 percent voted yes and 41 percent voted no.

Shasta County: 

Measure C - City of Redding Business Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 60 percent voted yes and 40 percent voted no.

Measure D - City of Shasta Lake Fire Protection District, Special Fire Tax

DID NOT PASS

Needs two-thirds of voters (66.667 percent) to say yes in order to pass. Preliminary results show 56 percent voted yes and 44 percent voted no.

Measure E - Enterprise Elementary School District, Bond Measure

PASSES

Needs 55 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 60 percent voted yes and 40 percent voted no.

Glenn County:

Measure D - Orland Fire Protection District Property Tax

DID NOT PASS

Needs two-thirds of voters (66.667 percent) to say yes in order to pass. Preliminary results show 530 voters said yes, and 511 voted no.

Measure E - City of Orland City's Hotel Users Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 553 voted yes and 396 voted no.

Measure F - Hamilton City Unified School District School Improvements

PASSES

Needs 55 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 199 people (approximately 66 percent) voted yes and 133 voted no.

Tehama County:

Measure A - City of Red Bluff Transactions and Use Tax 

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 64 percent voted yes and 36 percent voted no.

Measure C - Red Bluff Union Elementary School District Improvements

PASSES

Needs 55 percent plus one vote to pass. Preliminary results show 58 percent voted yes 42 percent voted no.

Measure D - Gerber Union Elementary School District Improvements 

DID NOT PASS

Needs two-thirds of voters (66.667 percent) to say yes in order to pass. Preliminary results show 51 percent of voters said yes, and 49 percent voted no.

Lassen County:

Measure M - County of Lassen Cannabis Business Tax

PASSES

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. 53 percent voted yes, and 47 percent voted no.

Modoc County: 

Measure J - City of Alturas Office of City Treasurer

DID NOT PASS

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. 25 percent voted yes, and 75 percent voted no.

Measure K - City of Alturas Office of City Clerk

DID NOT PASS

Needs 50 percent plus one vote to pass. 26 percent voted yes, and 74 percent voted no.

Measure L - City of Alturas Transactions and Use Tax  

DID NOT PASS

Needs two-thirds of voters (66.667 percent) to say yes in order to pass. Preliminary results show 47 percent of voters said yes, and 53 percent voted no.
