River Complex forces evacuation orders, warnings in Callahan area

The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office issued evacuation orders and warnings for the area of Callahan.

CALLAHAN, Calif. - The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation orders in the area of Callahan area and the area east of Callahan.

The orders include the south of Highway 3 to the Siskiyou-Trinity County line, including Cecilville Rd, South Fork Rd. and Scott Mountain Rd.

There are evacuation warnings for the areas north of Highway 3, east of Scott Mountain Rd. to Cecilville Rd., Wildcat Creek Rd. and Sugar Creek Rd.

Included in the warnings are East Callahan Rd. south of Messner Gulch and Highway 3 south of Squaw Gulch Rd.
