Reno Resort and Casino Offers Low Discount Stay for Carr Fire Victims

A popular Reno resort, Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, is offering evacuees of the Carr Fire a discounted stay at their hotel.

RENO, Nev. - A popular Reno resort, Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, is offering evacuees of the Carr Fire a discounted stay at their hotel.


In an email sent by Molly Ellery from Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, employees will offer a discounted rate of $39 a night with no resort fee.


The room code “Redfire” will be used for individuals looking to book rooms at that rate, said the email.


The resort is located at 2500 E. 2nd St, in Reno, Nevada.


The discounted offer will begin at July 30 and last until August 2.
