A Redding K9 helped track a suspect down in a doghouse.

Redding Police say around 3:30 Monday afternoon, Officer Chapman was at Library Park and approached 25-year-old Brandon Reynolds. Reynolds then ran away and disappeared. The CHP Air Operations Unit helped police search the area. Officer Nolan Guiducci and his K9 partner Dozer also responded and searched by ground. They found Reynolds hiding in the back of someone's yard inside a small doghouse. Police say they searched him and found heroin and methamphetamine.

Reynolds was booked into the Shasta County jail for possession of several controlled substances resisting arrest, and a violation of Post-Release Community Supervision.
