Police: Redding man arrested after traffic stop reveals meth, heroin

A Redding man was arrested for the 17th time after a traffic stop turned into a discovery of drugs, police say.

REDDING, Calif. – A Redding man was arrested for the 17th time after a traffic stop turned into a discovery of drugs, police say.

Redding Police Officers said they pulled over 36-year-old Michael Vukobradovich Tuesday afternoon for a traffic violation in the area of East Cypress Street and Beverly Drive.

Vukobradovich was on probation and admitted to officers that he had narcotics inside the vehicle, according to police.

Officers said they searched the car and located over two ounces of heroin hidden inside the steering wheel, a small amount of meth in the driver’s door pocket, packaging material indicated for narcotics sales, and over $13,000 in cash.

Agents from the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force assisted with the investigation and Vukobradovich was booked into the Shasta County Jail.

The Redding Police Department said Vukobradovich is no stranger to Shasta County Law Enforcement and stated that he has been booked into the Shasta County Jail a various amount of times over the last 11 years for various charges.
