REDDING, Calif. - What happens when fire mitigation efforts meet North State agriculture? Goat patrol.

Don't be surprised if you see goats roaming the brush along Buenaventura Blvd. The goats will be on patrol for the City of Redding.

The goat images in the video were posted to Redding Electric Utility via Facebook. REU is teaming up with Redding Fire and over 500 goats for wildfire mitigation efforts.

They are targeting 32 acres of city property, the project should take them about a month to complete, according to REU.
