REDDING, Calif. - Two Redding parents are behind bars this morning after police say one of them fired several shotgun rounds inside of their apartment.
Just after midnight this morning in the area of Lanning Avenue when Redding Police say Nicholas Hall fired four shotgun rounds through his own front door.
While arresting him officers say his wife began trying to destroy evidence from the vehicle.
Officers say they searched the apartment and found several loaded firearms and a bag of what they believe to be meth, all within the reach of children.
Hall and his wife are now facing charges of cruelty to a child, the three young children were turned over to child protective services.
