Redding and Red Bluff top the list of most dangerous cities in California

Two North State cities topped the list of most dangerous cities in California, according to website, Money INC.

Two North State cities topped the list of most dangerous cities in California, according to the website, Money INC.

Red Bluff is the third most crime-ridden city with Redding following behind at number 17 in California. Action News Now Jafet Serrato spoke to people in Redding and Red Bluff about the bold claim.

People said they couldn't believe it, the website reports that the risk of being a crime victim in Red Bluff is more than 160% greater than the average risk in California.

Red Bluff beat out cities such as San Francisco, Eureka, and Compton. Two people who live in Red Bluff said they havent seen much crime.

Money INC said more than 1,100 crimes have been reported in the city.

Action News Now reached out to both the Red Bluff and Redding Police Departments but both refused to talk about the article.
