REDDING, Calif. – The Redding Rancheria picked up the check for school lunches at Pacheco School recently.
The school’s dedicated lunch woman, Gail, reached out to Tribal Chairman Jack Potter Jr. because so many families were struggling to pay for their children’s meals.
The Redding Rancheria picked up the check for school lunches at Pacheco School recently.
She believes it’s because of parents not being able to work during the COVID-19 shutdown. The Rancheria delivered a check Thursday for $582.19, to help support the local community.
The Redding Rancheria said in a release, "We are grateful for the staff at Pacheco School for reaching out and allowing us to help cover the costs of their students’ lunches!"
