REDDING, Calif. - The Redding Rancheria Community Funds hosted its annual "A Year to Remember" Dinner on Saturday, March 7.

This year's theme was "Glow" and all the money raised will go toward local community projects.

Past events have helped support various organizations like arts/culture, education, environment, health, and social services in both Shasta and Trinity Counties.

"The event has helped to raise money for all of the organizations we grant. Last year we granted 71 organizations," said CEO Tracy Edwards. "We're excited to host everyone tonight and honor those organizations."

Since the beginning of the fund in 2002, they have raised approximately $3.4 million dollars.

We had beautiful weather around northern California on Friday with sunshine and more warmth. Saturday will also be fantastic, so get out and enjoy it! A welcome change to our very dry weather pattern is coming soon.
