Redding Police Searching for Stabbing Suspect

REDDING, Calif.-- Redding Police are searching for the suspect in an overnight stabbing.

According to Redding Police, a 53-year old man was stabbed during an argument at Parkview Park.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. Monday. The victim was stabbed once in the abdomen.

He is expected to be okay. Redding Police say the suspect got away.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a Native American man in his mid-30's.

He was last seen running towards the Sacramento River, wearing red shorts and no shirt.
