REDDING, Calif. - On Aug. 10 just before 10:30 p.m., Redding Police responded to the 700 block of Auditorium Drive for a report of an armed robbery.

After police arrived, an 11, 14, and 15-year old told officers that they were robbed at gunpoint by another 14 and 15-year old.

The suspects stole the victims' cash and fled the area on skateboards.

Police were able to locate the two suspects on the Dana to Downtown River Trail.

The gun that the victims reported turned out to be an airsoft pistol that looked like the actual thing.

Both of the juvenile suspects were arrested and booked into the Shasta County Juvenile Hall for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The identities of the victims and the suspects are being withheld due to their age.

Light scattered showers are on tap for the start of your Thursday, and I'm tracking heavier rain ahead from Thursday afternoon through mid day Friday. We'll have a lull in our wet pattern late Friday through early Saturday, but even heavier rain and snow will return this weekend and persist into next week. Major travel impacts will be possible across northern California from this wet weather.
