REDDING, Calif.-

Redding Police are on the hunt for a stabbing suspect that is still at large.

Officers say they are searching for a woman accused of stabbing a man in a domestic dispute on Sunday.  They say this happened at a home on Alfreda Way in Redding.  A man checked himself into the hospital with a stab wound. Police say that after the stabbing the woman left the home.

Police say that at this time they do not believe her to be a threat to the general public.  They have alerted other agencies to be on the lookout.

Action News Now is working to learn the woman's identity.

Thursday was the last fairly quiet weather day that we'll have in northern California as a series of storms will move our way through next week. Our first chance for rain and snow showers arrives Friday morning with a cold front.
