Redding Police Investigating Major Injury Crash on Hilltop Drive

Redding Police say southbound Hilltop Drive will be shut down near Browning Street for several hours due to a major injury crash.

UPDATE 8:50 a.m. - Hilltop Drive now open. 

Redding Police say southbound Hilltop Drive will be shut down near Browning Street for several hours due to a major injury crash near Best Buy.

Police say a car and bicylist were both heading southbound on Hilltop Drive when they crashed in the interection of Browning at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the male bicylist was taken to the hospital with major injuries. The female driver stayed on scene. 

Redding Police say this is an ongoing investigation. This is a developing story, check back for updates.
