Redding Firefighters Knock Down 2 Acre Fire Near Hilltop Drive

Redding firefighters battled a two-alarm fire Saturday afternoon.

REDDING, Calif. - Redding firefighters battled a two-alarm fire Saturday afternoon.

The blaze began around 1 p.m. on Woodcliff Drive just off Hilltop Drive but quickly spread to just over two acres.

Crews say with all hands on deck -- they were able to knock it down quickly.

The fire is still under investigation, but crews on scene were looking into this older jeep as a possible cause.

No injuries were reported in this fire.
