REDDING, Calif. - Like many events and communities, Redding's City Council has switched to a virtual format for its meetings as the coronavirus continues to spread.

To stream the meeting, you can visit HERE. When on the site and the video is streaming, it will list "video" and you will be able to click the link to be taken to the livestream.

To submit public comments, you can email or mail a comment as early as possible to allow time for comments to be taken to the council members.

You can email publiccomments@cityofredding.org or send your comment to the City of Redding, Office of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 496071, Redding, CA, 96049-6071.

Emails received by the city clerk before 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be forwarded to council members. Comments received after 2 p.m. will continue to be forwarded until the Mayor announces the time to submit emails is closed.

All public comments must include the agenda item number or a description of the item.

Additionally, the city council meeting will be televised live on Shasta Community Access Center (SCAC) TV, found on Spectrum cable Channel 181. This channel number will differ for each provider.

Strong wind continues to blow through the valley this afternoon, and will last through the evening. Thursday will still be a fairly breezy day, but the wind won't be as strong and our temperatures will be warmer. More wind is coming Friday and Saturday.
