GRIDLEY, Calif. - The Gridley Chamber will be hosting our 60th Red Suspenders Day Street Fair and Parade and Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, May 15.

The Gridley Little League will be hosting a pancake breakfast to kick off activities, starting at 7:30 a.m. The Parade takes place at 11 a.m.

Red Suspenders Day began in 1961 as a dance to raise revenue for the volunteer firemen of Gridley. It's now a community-wide celebration that continues to honor local firefighters and police.

There are Bed Races before the Parade in the downtown area, with entertainment and vendors at Daddow Park, and Firefighter Games after the parade.
