RED BLUFF, Calif. - Phase Two of Governor Gavin Newsom's reopening plan is set to begin Friday but it only affects certain businesses - retail being one of them.
The owner of Plum Crazy Hair Design and Boutique, Alana Hoagland, said she can not wait to get back to business and she will be taking all the proper safety precautions.
Hoagland's store has been doing curbside service and will continue doing so. However, when she can open her doors to customers, she said she plans to limit the number of those inside to no more than four at a time.
Throughout the pandemic, she has been doing business online and plans to continue even after she reopens completely.
"It's exciting. We've been online and so it's been a change for us," said Hoagland. "It's been good in a way because we've had to think outside the box a little bit, but it's kind of added to our business, too."
The store is also asking customers to consider wearing a mask and Hoagland said they will have gloves available for people, as well. There will also be signs up, asking customers to stay home if they feel ill.
Plum Crazy Hair Design and Boutique said they continue to ship and deliver locally.
