Red Bluff Round-Up Director dies

A long-time director and volunteer with the Red Bluff Round-Up rodeo has died.

RED BLUFF, CALIF. -  A  long-time director and volunteer with the Red Bluff Round-Up rodeo has died.

Don Krois died on March 4, 2020, in Red Bluff. He was born in Red Bluff on June 29, 1943. He was 76 years old.

Krois served on the Round-Up Board of Directors for 20 years and volunteered with the rodeo for 20 years. 

Fellow Round-Up Director and friend Frank Moore said Krois was a "good man", who would take a vacation from his job at PG&E to volunteer all week at the rodeo, including helping with the tear-down.

Krois also helped with the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale and he was a member of the Red Bluff Elks Lodge.

Krois is survived by three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The first of two storms moved over northern California late last night and this morning, but our weather has quieted for now. More rain showers will fall Saturday, but heavier rain and snow with stronger wind arrives Sunday.
