RED BLUFF, Calif. – A man has been identified as an accessory to the August 2020 FoodMaxx homicide in Red Bluff, police officers announced Tuesday.
On Aug. 3, officers arrived at the FoodMaxx at 94 Belle Mill Road, after a 52-year-old man walked into the business and collapsed with a single gunshot wound to his upper chest. The victim later died at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
The Red Bluff Police Department said there is an active warrant out for the arrest of 39-year-old Salvador Valdovinos, after investigation identified him as an accessory. Officers say he may be staying in several locations in Tehama and Lassen Counties, to avoid law enforcement.
Valdovinos is considered to be armed and dangerous. Police say he is a Hispanic male with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’9, and a Tehama County resident.
