RED BLUFF, Calif. - Red Bluff Police are searching for the killer of a man shot at the Food-Maxx in Red Bluff on Monday Night.
Officers were dispatched at 10:15 pm.
The Red Bluff Police Department says the suspect and victim were arguing before the killer fired a single shot and the victim made his way into the store where he collapsed.
Upon arrival, officers found numerous citizens attempting first aid on a 52-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the upper torso. The officers took over the efforts until medical personnel arrived on the scene.
Red Bluff PD says they are on the lookout for a dark maroon Nissan Altima in which the suspect is believed to have fled.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital where he died from his injuries. The Red Bluff Police Department will not release the name of the victim until his next of kin has been notified.
