CHICO, Calif. - A California Highway Patrol K9 unit got a surprise at an enforcement stop on Interstate 5 just south of Red Bluff on Thursday.
Investigations of one vehicle revealed about 80 pounds of methamphetamines, 200 oxycodone pills, two pounds of heroin, and $19,000 in cash!
Two suspects were arrested, both citizens of Washington State. They were taken to Tehama County Jail.
The CHP expressed great relief in getting these drugs off the streets and out of their communities.
