MAGALIA, Calif.- It's been over a year since the Camp Fire and many survivors who are living in RV's say they're still facing many challenges.
But one local church is lending a helping hand to those in need.
The Magalia Community Church recieved a $10,000 grant from the North Valley Community Foundation, aimed to help Camp Fire survivors with their RV repair needs.
Ron Rostamo, from Magalia, lost everything during the Camp Fire. He has been living in an RV on his aunt's property. He applied for funding to help pay for some of the repairs needed. He told Action News Now, "Every little bit helps. if it works out it'll be great, if not I'll survive I'm sure."
If you'd like to apply for funding or propane, you can do that at The Magalia Community Church. They say funding is not guaranteed but they are trying to help as many people as they can.
