CHICO, Calif. - Action News Now Telemundo Reporter Johan Castellanos spoke to a Chico State student who just returned from Italy and is currently quarantined.
On March 1, 2020, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) asked U.S. institutions of higher education to "consider postponing or canceling student foreign exchange programs."

Galvan said she was in Italy for two months until Chico State requested students to return. she will take five online classes to finish her study abroad program.
She told Action News Now that she was tested and does not have the coronavirus. As a precaution, Butte County Public Health asked her to self-quarantine for two weeks.
