Public Viewing for Beloved Redding Fire Chief Gerry Gray

A public viewing honoring the life of former Redding Fire Chief Gerry Gray will take place Monday night.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - A public viewing honoring the life of former Redding Fire Chief Gerry Gray will take place Monday night.

Gray passed away unexpectedly on June 2 in his sleep, he was 54-years-old.

The viewing is at the Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers, 816 Walnut St, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gray joined the Redding Fire Department in 2008 and was known as a beloved guy by many in his staff.

Gray’s memorial service will be Thursday.
