Powerball, Mega Millions together climb to more than $800 million

If you don't have lotto fever, well maybe you should.

If you don't have lotto fever, well maybe you should.  The Powerball jackpot and the Mega Millions jackpot have both topped the $400 million mark, for the first time simultaneously.  At $2 per ticket, your life could change, hopefully for the better.  Wednesday, the Powerball jackpot climbed to $460 million.  The Mega Millions jackpot now stands at $418 million.  Of course, if you win either jackpot, you can take a lump sum, but you won't walk away with the entire amount.  The general rule is that you'll get about of third.  But who would turn down a check for roughly $115 million?  The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night at 8pm Pacific, and the Mega Millions drawing will be up for grabs when the next Mega Millions drawing is held on Friday at 8pm Pacific.
