BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Paradise Unified School District and Oroville City School District have closed some schools on Monday because of power outages.

In Oroville, Oakdale Heights Elementary and Ishi Hills Middle School will be closed.

The district also says the Central Middle School campus has a busted water main, so it will also remain closed for the day.

In Paradise, Pine Ridge Elementary School and Ridgeview High School will both be closed on Monday.

Pacific Gas and Electric said it will be making repairs to power lines and poles. It added there are about 4,000 customers in the North Valley without power as of 8:15 a.m. Monday.
