(AP) - For those Americans who think retirement is out of reach, they are not alone.

According to a new poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, one in four Americans say they will never retire.

Only about 14% of Americans under the age of 50 say they feel comfortable about retiring.

Experts say there are a variety of reasons that often force older workers to retire before they want to including illness, injury, layoffs and caregiving responsibilities.

Dense fog has developed across parts of northern California Monday morning and the potential for light showers will return today. We'll dry out and warm up on Tuesday, but more cool and wet weather is expected mid week. A more substantial wet system is currently projected to move into our region this weekend.
