UPDATE: 4:01 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2020 - Paul Wagner, a suspect into a homicide investigation, has been taken into custody thanks to the public's help, according to the Yuba City Police.
Police said Wagner was located walking in the area of Roselind Avenue and Orange Street in Yuba City.
YUBA CITY, Calif. – The Yuba City Police Department said they’re searching for a man wanted for homicide.
Officers said on Sunday, May 3 around 8:30 p.m. they arrived at the 700 block of Almond Street due to a family altercation. An unresponsive victim was located and immediately transported to Adventist Health Rideout Emergency Room, where the medical staff said he died due to his injuries.
During the investigation, 37-year-old Paul Wagner was identified as being involved in the incident and is currently wanted for homicide, according to the Yuba City Police Department.
Wagner is described as a white male, 5’05”, 180 pounds, blond hair, and brown eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing black shorts, no shirt, and no shoes. He is homeless and believed to frequently visit the area of the 99 Cent Store in Yuba City.
