Missing Redding man found safe

The Shasta County Sheriff's Office has found a missing Redding man that is considered at risk.

REDDING, Calif. - The Redding Police Department is searching for a man that is missing and also considered at risk.

Authorities say Howard Albrecker left his home in Redding on Wednesday, March 20, to go to the local post office. He never returned. 

Albrecker was last seen on surveillance video Thursday morning at a gas station in Red Bluff. 

Police say he has stomach cancer and is possibly suffering from early onset dementia. 

Howard is 72-years-old, 5'7", 120 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. 

He is driving a red 2015 Toyota RAV 4, with California License 7NDX624.

A fire weather watch has been issued from 1pm Monday to 11am Wednesday in the Valley and foothills due to dry and gusty conditions. We'll warm up next week but next weekend is looking much much cooler and wet.
